Our Club
The Black River Raiders was established in 1969 by a group of friends in the Taborton Mountain area. The first official meeting was held at the Poestenkill V.F.W where officers were chosen and a trail committee was formed. In 1971, the first trail groomer was purchased and safety courses were offered.
The Club was incorporated in 1974 and currently has in excess of 100 members. Maintaining approximately 14 miles of trails with three groomers, the Black River Raiders Club continues to work and strive to provide the safest and most enjoyable snowmobiling experience for members and guest riders.
Since the majority of our trails are by landowner permission, we strongly urge all riders to respect the land and the rules as if it were their own. All trails are signed and posted.
